Privacy Policy — Resalent

Overview

Resalent ("the App") is developed and operated by Vasily Ponomarev ("I", "me", "my"). I take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

The key principle: all your personal data stays on your device. Resalent does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external server.

1. Data Accessed by the App

Resalent accesses the following data to calculate your personal resonance score and find optimal moments for your habits:

1.1 HealthKit Data

With your explicit permission, the App reads:

Sleep data — duration, stages (REM, deep, core)
Heart rate variability (HRV)
Heart rate
Active energy burned
Workouts
Menstrual cycle data (opt-in only)

HealthKit data is accessed through Apple's HealthKit framework and is governed by Apple's HealthKit policies. This data is used solely to calculate your resonance score and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or transmitted off your device.

1.2 Calendar Data

With your permission, the App reads your calendar events (busy/free times only — not event titles or details) to avoid suggesting habits during scheduled commitments and to find free windows in your day.

1.3 Location and Weather Data

With your permission, the App uses your approximate location to fetch current weather conditions. This is used to determine whether outdoor habits are feasible. Your precise location is not stored or transmitted.

1.4 Notification Data

With your permission, the App sends local push notifications to alert you when a resonance point is detected. No notification data is sent to external servers.

2. Data Storage

All personal data processed by Resalent is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Core Data). There are no user accounts, no cloud synchronization, and no server-side data storage.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

4. Analytics

The App may collect anonymized, aggregated usage analytics (such as which features are used and crash reports) to improve the product. This data cannot be used to identify you personally and does not include any HealthKit data, calendar data, or location data.

The website (resalent.app) and the App use PostHog for privacy-friendly product analytics. PostHog collects anonymized usage data (page views, feature usage, crash reports) to help us improve the product. No personal health data, calendar data, or location data is sent to PostHog. You can opt out of analytics in the App settings.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Payment processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Resalent is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data remains on-device and no accounts are required, there is no collection of personal data from any user, including children.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

Access: All your data is visible within the App
Deletion: Delete the App to remove all data, or revoke permissions in iOS Settings
Portability: Your health data remains in Apple Health, accessible by any other app you authorize
Consent withdrawal: Revoke any permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security

8. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
